Rasho dumped

Hosen drop Rasho for Kyle Lowry

4-16-08-lowry

Information on Rasho can be found in our previous post. He has sprained his ankle, but otherwise, his situation is unchanged.

Kyle Lowry was the beneficiary last year of Mike Conley's terrible rookie season (9/3/4), and seems poised to capitalize again on Conley's terrible second season (5/2/4). Lowry is averaging 8/3/4, and, when his shot is on, can put forth impressive multi-cat lines. With the Grizz heavily invested in Mayo and Conley, however, there's a question of minutes consistency (and his own shooting inconsistency).

Judgment: We generally approve, though the Hosen do need Bigs, perhaps more than PGs - it's early, though, and Lowry will likely be a solid contributor all season long. Also, being less Pacer-dependent is never a bad thing.
