Hosen drop A. Carter, pick up Millsap
We've discussed Carter and Millsap, so there's no need to repeat. However, the crucial point here is that Carter appears to have lost significant value with the trade of AI for Chauncey. AI has mostly been playing SG in Denver, while Chauncey is a pure PG. What will also be interesting to watch is whether the half-court offense of Detroit becomes more open with AI at the helm, and whether Denver's wide open offense (and no defense) changes with Chauncey running the point.
Judgment: Great move by the Hosen. Millsap is a beast, when he's given minutes and isn't in foul trouble, and Carter, though he has been productive, looks to lose a lot of minutes. Moreover, the Hosen need bigman stats more than smallman stats at this point.
