Hinrich - Thumbs Down

thenopp drops Hinrich, picks up Bogans

J Francis discussed Hinrich's thumb injury here, so there's no need to repeat.

Keith Bogans has been a very consistent 8pt/3reb man, good for a 3 and most of a steal. There's almost nothing else to say about Keith Bogans - he has no upside, and no downside. He might get a bit more playing time this year, given how inconsistent Pietrus can be.

Judgment: Dropping Hinrich is the right move, but we must wonder if there's someone more exciting available on the wire to replace him. Still, Bogans is fine, until something better appears.

Ach, Mein Hinrich!

Bulls guard and Elfin ambassador Kirk Hinrich has been sidelined 12 weeks with a thumb injury, much to the dismay of the nopp (seen here performing in an Eddie Vedder lookalike contest) and friends of the Elves everywhere. Fortunately for Todd (who is not gay), Hinrich wasn't much of a contributor this season anyway, coming of the bench in the Bulls new "Negro-ball" system. The biggest impact this injury will likely have is to delay any trade that might land Mr. Hinrich on a team where he could actually contribute.
